Funny think is that Bitcoin really didn't evolve...it is just a "store of value" as long as people believe it to be so. Kindof like our Fiat Currency. Thing is our dollar has the US taxpayer behind it (for good or ill)...BTC does not such backing. The current trend in crypto is utility. How to facilitate the movement of goods and services faster and cheaper. This maybe BTC's Achilles heel. Well...that's how I see it at this juncture.
Yea once Trump got in there and started fking around, I saw this Achilles heel. If a whale leaves, the little guys all get screwed. Each coin is its own pyramid scheme where rich guys win and people who have the time to watch it 24/7 might benefit slightly. I got out and hope to see others do the same. As if we need digital currency that the uber rich can manipulate and exploit.
